UpliftED is a Teacher Training Programme partnering into low-income communities to empower both teachers and principals of “back yard” crèches.

 

Our team gives these women the necessary practical and theoretical training to develop their skills and thus enable them to offer a better, more solid foundation in education in their preschools. UpliftED reaches over 4 000 preschoolers every year, giving them a greater chance at success in formal schooling. We believe that changing a nation means first empowering women and children with education!

 

Corporate and individual partners of UpliftED support our work through monthly giving, Enterprise and Skills Development funding and equipment sponsorships.

We currently train in 2 areas across South Africa reaching over 160 women and 4 000 pre-schoolers.
